Good morning everyone!
It has been awhile since I created any kind of real post. Life has kept me busy running around here and there. I thought that when the boys went back to school, I would find myself having tons of time creating. Man, have I been wrong. The good news is that at least I see a small light at the end of the tunnel. With September gone, I have hope that a new month will bring some normal craziness back into my life.

Just a quick post, as the craziness is moving into the weekend! As I will

be turning 32 on Sunday. Not only I'm I trying to get the

normal stuff done over the weekend, but we have added some

birthday dinners, shopping, and remembrance of 9/11 it.

Over the last two days, I've been running around with

my head cut off. With the boys being in school, I've been

trying to get my schedule all worked out. I find it hard to back,

after being lazy during the summer, lol.

Good Morning!

Can't believe September starts tomorrow. While

I'm sad to see summer go, a part of me is very

excited. One I will be turning 33 years old soon. Next the boys

start school, just love the smell of freshly sharpened pencils. Lastly,

Wow, I can't believe that school is less than a week away! We have

our last couple of fun things to do this weekend, and on Monday. Although,

the rest of next week will be getting those last minute school

Good morning!

As I told all of you yesterday, we are having some work

done to our house. I'm a huge fan of the Holidays, and

can't help myself when it comes to decorations. I have boxes

and boxes of Holiday goodies.

Over the last two years, we've had them

on some shelves that keep them some what organized. Although,

they never really gave a feeling of being that way. Since our

garage seems to never be closed, due to the boys, we decided

it was time for some storage units to hide all of my goodies.

After today, I'm happy to say that we will have a nice clean and organized

garage. Plus I even received some extra room for more

decorations, lol!

Kiki Halbert has a new kit out called Dreams come true.

Her inspiration for this kit was Disney Land. So while it worked

great for our Disney Cruise (yes I still have tons left to scrap). The

boys would in no way would get close to any of the

princesses. Todd and I would laugh because

they would go the long way just to stay away.

Now time for my layout. When looking through

the galleries, I normally come across a layout or two that has a

photo stacked just like in my own layout. I love

the way it looks, and gives the photo a

different feel. After looking at a few different one,

I decided to try it for myself.

Getting my feet wet~

Hello everyone!

While you have seen a few different posts here and there from me,

I've actually been away in Lake Chelan, Washington. Todd

and I took the boys there for the last six days. The weather

was a little better than at home (had a couple

of days of warm weather to swim), but we mostly played

some new games and went shopping. Hey, even got

some Christmas presents. Yes, I know I start a little early, lol.

Although, our favorite part of the trip was

picking cherries and blueberries.

We all had tons of fun. :)

Anyway, I'm back home now. Plus I have this new layout

I made while away. This is just two of the many pictures

from our Ocean Shores trip.

Simple Girl Scraps has two new kits that hit the store yesterday.

Over that last couple of days, I've been going through our older

photos. Holy cow, I took tons of them. Sadly, not all of

them are really good ones. Guess I've learned to

take better pictures over the years. Which

is one thing I would like to improve on even more.

Anyway, this cutie pie is one of those pictures I've

found. Love how little Cody is!

Her other kit is called Twitterpated, and

Well good afternoon!

So of you might have seen the beginning of this post. As I had only two of

my pictures added (middle one was getting finished),

and planned on having all ready before it was set to go. Although,

my computer had other ideas. After working on it most

of the day, I gave up. While I still have do more too it, I decided

I had other things to finish first like this post. Help relieve some of

the stress that my computer caused. :(

Anyway, Ashalee Wall has now opened her goodies to hybrid

projects. When I heard the news I was super excited. As I

love her paper, and couldn't wait to make cards with

it. Today, I have three different cards to share. All

of them are made with her Ensemble Add-on paper:

So I've been busy working on some new cards. Man I forget sometimes how

long it takes to do one or two. Anyway, I'm here today to share this

pretty card I made using the Friends by Choice kit by Meredith Cardall Designs.

The only elements not from the kit are the rhinestones, felt, and ribbon.

What I really like about this kit is that it already matching some of

my cardstock supply from Stampin Up. Love when

things match.

The weekend is already here, can't believe it. I have a feeling that

means summer is going to fly by. Due to some great weather here, I

have been working in the yard and painting one of our

hallways. Not to worry, I've been working here and there in

my office too. While I don't have any paper crafts to share

today, I do have some on my desk waiting to be finished. Fingers

crossed, I get those done and ready for you by tomorrow. Although, you

never know with the boys being home, lol.

Friday is here!!! Which means it is the last day of school.

Wow, it went by way too fast. Can't believe it.

Today, I have two treats for you using the same kit.

One thing I love about digital kits is that you

can do hybrid projects, too. Plus you can use the

same paper over and over, and not run out.

First off is the birthday card. You will

see that I have 4 different layers of designer paper. Those

are all done on the computer, and printed at once. So I don't

have to do any cutting. In turn, saving me lots of time. Love it!

I even added those butterflies on top, saving me even more

time. Since I like some depth to my creations, I added a

couple other layers on top of my printed ones. This way my

card doesn't feel too flat.

At the beach~

So I've been busy today with the boys. They had their last

field trip, as 1st graders, at the local beach. So sad!

Anyway, the day was full of catching tons of crab, eels, and checking

out all of the sea life. They had three hours of fun! I also was

able to have lunch with both of them on the grass. Which was

the highlight of the day for me. :) It was a wonderful day, and I got some

great pictures. While the layout I have for you are from the beach, they

aren't from today. But I can't wait to get those finished now.

For a teacher:

So as promised, I have a card for all of you today. Plus even

another little project, a toolbox.

Can't believe the school is coming to a close. I've been running

here and there, getting those last minute things finished

before the boys are home all day. While we have them signed

up for a couple of camps, there is still tons of

days that they will be with me. Which gives

me little time to get those around the house projects done.

Besides running like a chicken without a head, I've been

making goodies for their teachers and staff that

I've been working with this year. All of you don't know this, but

I was PTA President. That is one of the reasons I wasn't around much

during Fall of last year. While I loved it, my plan is not to return in

that position, and maybe take something that doesn't take all of my time.

With that said, you can plan on seeing a few more cards, that I made

for all of those special PTA members.

Good morning everyone~

As I'm sitting drinking my coffee, I thought I would

add this layout I did yesterday. The kit I used is

called iCreate by Simple Girl Scraps. It is a great

kit for all of us, scrappers/card makers, out there. Since (if you

are anything like me) we always have a least one

of these elements in our hands, if not next to us. They just

never seem to be too far away!

While I could a picture of my craft area or of me, I decided

to go with one I had on hand. The boys are always coming up with something

new and creative. Specially Cole with his trophies. He is really, I mean really,

into sports and who wins. So he is always making new trophies for the

basketball games he plays against his Dad. Most of the time

he finds one he likes off of the computer, and

draw/colors/cuts it out. Although, this time he got Cody to

help him make one out of some basketball cards he had. So

what you see between them is the basketball MAN trophy. Yes, I

said man. They added eyes and mouth to it. I loved how they

worked together, and were so proud of their finished project.

Tiny Miracles by Blue Heart Scraps hit the stores the other day,

Good morning!

Thankfully, I woke up early this morning, as I'm not

going to get everything I need to get done today. It started last

night, when my DH got hit in the mouth at his softball

game. Luckily, he is alright. After being in the ER last

night for 2 hours, he only came home with a sore and cut lip. Then this

morning, I woke up to having Cody sick again. Poor little guy, just

got finished being sick two weeks ago. Hopefully it doesn't

last long, as the last two weeks are the fun part of school.

With all of that said, I will be hanging out on the couch

with the little guy. As for Todd, I think he will be going to

work, but won't last all day.

Anyway, here is what I have for all of you currently:

When I first saw this kit, I was planning on using

some other pictures I had from our cruise. Although, after looking

for something else on a cd, I came across these photos (plus 80 others). These

are from back in 2005. Yes, I'm that far behind in scrapping! Sadly, I could

go back even one more year. My goal is to one day have all of my past

books finished! At least now (since I became a huge fan of digital

scrapbooking) I can see that goal happening. :) Anyway, we had

these done professionally (that is why you see me in them, lol).

Doodles goodies. This cute guy was hanging

out. Who just happen to make me fall in love with him. :)

So last night before bed, I decided to sit down and

work on a couple of things. One of them being, combining

a layout designs with the kit called Youthful, both by Scrappy Smile.

(Previews are below.) While most of the time, I enjoy coming up

with some kind of layout on my own. Although, it is nice to have something

quick and easy to grab, to get your mojo started.

Just working through my list of things to do. While I get a few things

done here and there, I keep adding to it. Just need to start my one

for tomorrow, that way I feel like I'm getting

some where for today. :)

I have this fun kit called My playbox by Cjoy2Day. As soon

as I saw this one, I had to play with it. Love that

little plane. Plus I had just the pictures for it.

This one is from us coming home after our Disney Cruise. It

would be really nice to go back to some warm weather.

Although, I hear that we here in the NW are going to

get a few beautiful days. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Ahhh Scraps has their 2011 June Collab out called Stitched Together.

I love this new collab. I'm a huge fan of stitches, just love
