Getting my feet wet~

Hello everyone!
While you have seen a few different posts here and there from me,
I've actually been away in Lake Chelan, Washington.  Todd
and I took the boys there for the last six days.  The weather
was a little better than at home (had a couple
of days of warm weather to swim), but we mostly played
some new games and went shopping. Hey, even got
some Christmas presents.  Yes, I know I start a little early, lol.
Although, our favorite part of the trip was
picking cherries and blueberries.
We all had tons of fun. :)
Anyway, I'm back home now.  Plus I have this new layout
I made while away.  This is just two of the many pictures
from our Ocean Shores trip.
Here is a preview of the kit I used for my layout:

Twitterpated/Goodnight

Simple Girl Scraps has two new kits that hit the store yesterday.
You can grab her soda shop color kit: Goodnight for only $1.00, but it is
this weekend only.  So be sure to hurry. :)

Over that last couple of days, I've been going through our older
photos.  Holy cow, I took tons of them.  Sadly, not all of
them are really good ones.  Guess I've learned to
take better pictures over the years.  Which
is one thing I would like to improve on even more.
Anyway, this cutie pie is one of those pictures I've
found.  Love how little Cody is!

Her other kit is called Twitterpated, and
Again don't miss out.
Now these pictures are from this month (don't want to get
too far behind).  My husband and I were talking
about different things we want to do within our life time.
Which is turn got us making our bucket list.  So here
are the pictures from our first item: walking on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

For card with challenges, please visit the middle card. Thanks!!!

Well good afternoon!
So of you might have seen the beginning of this post.  As I had only two of
my pictures added (middle one was getting finished),
and planned on having all ready before it was set to go.  Although,
my computer had other ideas.  After working on it most
of the day, I gave up.  While I still have do more too it, I decided
I had other things to finish first like this post.  Help relieve some of
the stress that my computer caused. :(
Anyway, Ashalee Wall has now opened her goodies to hybrid
projects.  When I heard the news I was super excited.  As I
love her paper, and couldn't wait to make cards with
it.  Today, I have three different cards to share.  All
of them are made with her  Ensemble Add-on paper:

First one:
Supplies:
stamp: saying- hope your day is fabulous
cardstock/ink: designer paper (Ashalee Wall), summer sunrise, and dark gray
extra: flowers, ribbon, paper punch, white gel pen, and candi element

Now for my next one
This is for the following challenges:
(stamp had since it came out maybe 2009?)
and

Supplies:
stamps: bride with saying (SU)
cardstock/ink: rose red, white, and designer paper (Ashalee Wall)
extra: rhinestones, nestie, cuttlebug, embossing template, ribbon,
glitter brad, and inked edges

Onto my last one for the day:
stamps: saying- happy birthday (Papertrey) and party hat (SU)
cardstock/ink: blue, black, and designer paper (Ashalee Wall)
extra:  ribbon, brads, tag, and distressed edges

Now I guess I need to get back to fixing my computer.
