Heart Felt~

Just messing around this morning with a kits that I have.  I used
both the kit and add-on together.  While most of the time I don't use
pink kits (since I don't have many girly pictures), I did find
a photo that would work with it.
Here are previews of the Heart Felt goodies by Melly Scraps:

Now for some inspiration for all of you:
I also used this layout for a challenge over at DSDI: Altered Art.

Couldn't help myself, just loved the paper.  So I created this card. :)

Cardstock/ink: designer paper (from Heart Felt kit), cream, rose red, and black

So I've been busy working on some new cards.  Man I forget sometimes how
long it takes to do one or two.  Anyway, I'm here today to share this
The only elements not from the kit are the rhinestones, felt, and ribbon.
What I really like about this kit is that it already matching some of
my cardstock supply from Stampin Up.  Love when
things match.
Now for my challenges:

Supplies:
Cardstock/ink: berry sorbet, sage, white, designer paper/flower/wish/leaves

The boys~

Just a quick post, as I've been busy doing things around the
house.  Which is kind of perfect, since the kit I'm about to
share with you is about house work.
The kit is called All Done:

While my picture is not of any house.  (I've actually been
looking for one I have in mind.) It is of the
boys at a Seahawk game.

Driving the boat~

Happy Friday!!!
The weekend is already here, can't believe it.  I have a feeling that
means summer is going to fly by.  Due to some great weather here, I
have been working in the yard and painting one of our
hallways.  Not to worry, I've been working here and there in
my office too.  While I don't have any paper crafts to share
today, I do have some on my desk waiting to be finished.  Fingers
crossed, I get those done and ready for you by tomorrow.  Although, you
never know with the boys being home, lol.
Anyway, for now I have this layout created with the Distinction kit

Perfect Day~

Wima4Ever has a new (stunning) kit that is now in
the store!!! Be sure to stop by and grab Perfect Day.
Also don't forget to grab the quick pages that I made
from the kit, too!

I created two different layouts with this kit:
Soon enough, Cole will be behind the wheel.  Man, it
will be here before I know it.  For now, he gets to play
in his Papa's old cars.

This layout is of Cody, and his chocolate bar, that
he made.  He thought it would be funny
to prank his Dad and Papa with a wooden
candy bar (that he painted and designed all by himself).

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Music to my ears~

So it has been awhile since I've had something to share
with all of you, from Caged Bird Designs.
Not to worry, she is still around, and has some
new goodies coming next month!
Today, I have one of her older
kits to share with all of you: I Know Why.
This happens to be one of my favorite kits of hers!
I was super excited to play with this one, due
to those music notes and soft colors of the kit.
Here is what I created with it.
These are photos from Cody's recital. He just
loves playing the piano.

Fly Away~

Friday is here!!! Which means it is the last day of school.
Wow, it went by way too fast.  Can't believe it.
Today, I have two treats for you using the same kit.
One thing I love about digital kits is that you
can do hybrid projects, too.  Plus you can use the
same paper over and over, and not run out.
First off is the birthday card.   You will
see that I have 4 different layers of designer paper.  Those
are all done on the computer, and printed at once.  So I don't
have to do any cutting. In turn, saving me lots of time.  Love it!
I even added those butterflies on top, saving me even more
time.  Since I like some depth to my creations, I added a
couple other layers on top of my printed ones.  This way my
card doesn't feel too flat.

Challenges for both creations:
SC: wings (both card and layout)
Stampavie and more: butterflies (both card and layout)
Now for my card challenges:

Supplies for card:
stamp: saying- Celebrate your day (papertrey ink)
cardstock/ink: olive, white, pink, and designer paper/butterflies (Brine Design)
extra: pearls, ribbon, cuttlebug, oval punch, inked edges, and nestie

Challenges for my layout:

Supplies for layout:
Paper and Elements all from Penelope Bundle by Brine Design

Here is a preview of the kit I used for both my card and layout.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!!!

Love my dog:

For my card with all of the challenges, please head to the bottom!!!

Simple Girl Scraps has a few things going on!!!
First, she has a this new kit called: Ocean Breezes over at DSDI.
(which sadly I don't have anything yet to share with you)
Than she has this cute kit Love my dog over at SD.
But before I get onto my layout and card, be sure to check out
SD because for every $5.00 you spend, you can get her Love U Dad Mini Kit Free!!!

Okay now for my layout with the Love my dog kit.
We don't have any dogs or cats.  While yes, part of me would like
one.  The other part me, says maybe later.  So when this I saw
this kit, I was a little sad, since it is super cute.  Although, after going
through a few photos, I remembered that we had a
couple with my Aunt's dog Maggie.  Which the boys love!

Now here is a card that I made using the same kit.
Challenges used:

Supplies:
stamp: saying big birthday wishes (Papertrey)
cardstock/ink: turquoise, white, designer paper/paw print/dog (Simple Girl Scraps)
extra: ribbon and brads

Fish are Friends 15th

Okay, so I'm going with a beach theme for the day.  This cute kit by 3 li'l monsters designs called Fish are Friends,
hit the store today.  So be sure to stop by
DSDI to check it out!
This picture is from our cruise.
(yes I still have tons of pictures left)
See ya tomorrow!!!

At the beach~

So I've been busy today with the boys.  They had their last
field trip, as 1st graders, at the local beach.  So sad!
Anyway, the day was full of catching tons of crab, eels, and checking
out all of the sea life.  They had three hours of fun!  I also was
able to have lunch with both of them on the grass.  Which was
the highlight of the day for me. :)  It was a wonderful day, and I got some
great pictures. While the layout I have for you are from the beach, they
aren't from today.  But I can't wait to get those finished now.
I used Paradise Beach, by Wilma4Ever, for my layouts:

Summer Fun~

So Summer is almost here for the boys.  Four more days left of school, and
we all know that those are more fun than anything else. While
the boys haven't been able to get wet yet this year (due to our wonderful
rainy weather), I'm still hopeful. These fun pictures are
from last year.  Both boys love the water!!!

For a teacher:

So as promised, I have a card for all of you today.  Plus even
another little project, a toolbox.
Can't believe the school is coming to a close. I've been running
here and there, getting those last minute things finished
before the boys are home all day.  While we have them signed
up for a couple of camps, there is still tons of
days that they will be with me.  Which gives
me little time to get those around the house projects done.
Besides running like a chicken without a head, I've been
making goodies for their teachers and staff that
I've been working with this year.  All of you don't know this, but
I was PTA President.  That is one of the reasons I wasn't around much
during Fall of last year.  While I loved it, my plan is not to return in
that position, and maybe take something that doesn't take all of my time.
With that said, you can plan on seeing a few more cards, that I made
for all of those special PTA members.
So for today, I'm here to share my teacher goodies!

You can grab these goodies yourself at:
the toolbox from Stuff to Scrap and
the designer paper/element from 3 li'l monsters facebook page.
(both products are made by 3 li'l monsters designs)

Now for some challenges:
and

Supplies:
stamp: saying- thanks so much (papertrey)
cardstock/ink: baja, white, and designer paper/apple/pencil (3 li'l monsters)
extra: toolbox template (3 li'l monsters), and ribbon

Have a great weekend!

Our trophy~

Good morning everyone~
As I'm sitting drinking my coffee, I thought I would
add this layout I did yesterday.  The kit I used is
called iCreate by Simple Girl Scraps.  It is a great
kit for all of us, scrappers/card makers, out there.  Since (if you
are anything like me) we always have a least one
of these elements in our hands, if not next to us.  They just
never seem to be too far away!
While I could a picture of my craft area or of me, I decided
to go with one I had on hand.  The boys are always coming up with something
new and creative.  Specially Cole with his trophies.  He is really, I mean really,
into sports and who wins.  So he is always making new trophies for the
basketball games he plays against his Dad.  Most of the time
he finds one he likes off of the computer, and
draw/colors/cuts it out.  Although, this time he got Cody to
help him make one out of some basketball cards he had.  So
what you see between them is the basketball MAN trophy.  Yes, I
said man.  They added eyes and mouth to it. I loved how they
worked together, and were so proud of their finished project.
What will they think of next!

Little Campers:

So I have one last post for all of you for today.
While I was waiting to get a card up, I'm in
need of taking a picture first.  Guess, I will have to
do that afterwards.  Now you will just have to visit me again
tomorrow.  :) With Summer is just around the corner,
I decided to use this fun outdoors kit by

Here is what I made with it:
