Freshly Squeezed

A couple more layouts before I relax for the night!
This pages are done with a kit by Ashalee Wall called Freshly Squeezed.

Here is a preview of that kit:

Have a great rest of the evening, and see ya tomorrow!

Don't Bug Me:

Since I've been playing with so many bug kits lately, I just needed
one more to add the my collection, lol.  So when I saw this one
by Crazy 4 Monograms called Don't Bug Me.  I just had to have it.

While yes, I didn't use any of the bugs in my layout.  I really liked the
different papers.  Plus the grass element was fun to add to my indoor
picture of Cody.  The boys made a clubhouse out of this HUGE box we
got.  They have been playing with during the day, but have wanted
to sleep in it ever since we got it.  While it is big enough for both of them
to play in, not the same story for sleeping though.  So the only time they could sleep in
the clubhouse was this weekend (wanted to make sure they
didn't have something important the next day).  Cody got the first shift, and only made it till 3 in the morning.  Then wanted to get into his own bed.  In
the morning he said it was fun camping out, but needed more room.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Snuggle Bug:

Happy Memorial Day!!!

Sugar Kissed has come out with a new bright kit called Snuggle Bug:
Isn't he sweet, this little guy is Beau.  Which happens to
by my 3 year old nephew.  Not only did he enjoy playing around
with his cousins, but the boys had a wonderful time too.  It was
great to watch them have fun together!

End of School on it's way:

I'm back this morning with two different cards to share.
First off, I have this fun summer greeting.  While we had
some nice sunshine yesterday, today is not so nice.  Although, it does
look like it will burn off.  Finger crossed!!! Maybe that is one of
the reasons for creating this one.  I can't wait for summer to
get here.  Hopefully this will help with bringing it to the NW sooner!
I also combined some challenges:
and
Supplies:
Stamps: saying background: lazy days, fun nights, beachy hair, water fights, flip flops, tanned skin, schools out, summer's in! (Creations by Julie), girl (Tiddly Inks), and saying: ticket to celebrate
Cardstock/ink: turquoise, white, copics, and designer paper (two types)
Extra: punch, ticket, ribbon, twine, button, and white gel pen

My second card:
Not as cute as the first one, but one of those types of cards that you
need for those grads coming up.

What I like most with this kit is the papers.  I'm
a huge paper fan of designer papers.  Got to have it all!
Be sure to check back later, as I have some more to share!!!

Simple Girl Scraps:

Wednesday is here!!! Part of me can't believe it, but
the other part of me keeps thinking that it is Thursday or Friday.
Some of that has to do with the fact that I've been inside the
house taking care of a sick little boy. :(  Most of the
time when the boys get sick, and it is gone within 24 hours.  Not this
time! He has not been feeling well since Sunday evening.  While
now he is a little better, he still will be hanging at home with me.  Although,
today we will be getting out a little to run those errands that
NOW need to be done.
Enough about me, onto some new kits out by Simple Girl Scraps:

Hey Cupcake:

Well, good evening everyone!
This is not my normal posting time, and I was
thinking that I might wait until tomorrow to share this
card.  Although, why wait!
One of my favorite challenges from years past is
Mojo Monday.  One, I love having a sketch to start with.  Which
sometimes gets the juices working.  Plus if you get a chance
to look around, you will find some wonderful creations that
others come up with.  Which can give you even more
ideas.  Love it!
So here is my take on Mojo Monday sketch #190:
Supplies:
stamps: saying: papertrey and cupcake: pink petticoat
cardstock/ink: white, black, turquoise, copics, and designer paper (2 types)
extra: ribbon, paper punches, brads, button, and a little inked edges (very light)

Happy Birthday Cody~

So as most of you bloggers already know, blogger was
down.  I'm very happy that it is back up and running.
I didn't know how much I worked with it until I
could no longer play and post.
I had tons of things planned, and just never got around
to it since I did other things while I was waiting.
Oh well, life happens.  While
I was just visiting older posts this morning I
came across a sketch challenge by The Scrappiest
Here is my take on their sketch:

I used the Bits2Kits May Collab: It's My Party
Be sure to grab it while it is on sale!!!

Winter Fun:

Well today looks like it just maybe better than
yesterday.  At least I'm seeing some sunshine this morning.  Although there
are some nasty clouds coming this way. :(
For you card makers out there, I will be posting
something for you later today.  So don't stay away to long.
Right now, I have a layout from Christmas time.  I know, I know
who really wants to think about winter.
Maybe it is our weather that put me into a mood to create this, lol!

Used templates by Creations by Julie

Used a Christmas kit by Papier Creatif
Here is what I came up with, combining the bottom left template with the kit.
While yes, I want Christmas far from my mind.
Sometimes it's never to early to start thinking about it, lol.
I was also able to enter the following
challenges:

Clear Day:

So I was looking at my calendar the other day, and realized that
school will be out very soon.  Where in the world did the time
go?  I have a huge list of things that I would
like to get finished before the boys are out for the summer.
Sadly, with the weather here in the NW (not much sunshine lately), I haven't had the motivation to get my butt going.  While
yes we did have a few days there, I was able to get somethings finished.  Although,
it wasn't enough.  Maybe once the sun comes out, I will not want to
sit by a nice warm fire with a hot cup of joe.  Sun sun come out to play!!!
Anyway, enough about the horrible weather here.  Now for
a soft and pretty kit that is by Sugar Kissed Designs.
I'm always amazed when I open one of Sugar Kissed Designs kits.
Not only does something in the preview grab me, but as soon
as I start looking around, I find myself thinking of
other ways I can use the kit too.  Clear Day is no
different than any of her other kits.  Just Stunning!
Now for some inspiration for you:

1000 words

Good morning everyone~
I'm up bright and early to share this mini kit by Valorie Brown Designs.
While it is called 1000 words, you will find that
I'm the opposite. Hehehe.  Most of the time, I let
my picture tell the story, even on my cards.

While it is only the beginning of the season for coach-pitch, I'm
thinking these photos are going to be some of my favorites.
Just love how each one captures
the moment.
