You can it is NOT Thursday anymore. I know it is Friday (which I will be adding the slide show from last week today). Although, I knew what I was planning for the challenge, I didn't finish my card until really late last night, running out of time to add it. So you get it today!!!
HFOS Challenge #4: Share it with the Family: Food and Drinks
For this week's challenge,
I decided that it would be fun to make project with
food and/or drinks on them (doesn't have to have a holiday theme).
But that is not all. Here is the really
fun part, add your favorite RECIPE to your post. Now please know that you DON'T need
both to play this challenge, you can do only one!!! Maybe you don't have a stamp with
food/drinks on it, but have a recipe you would like to share. That sounds
perfect. This week's challenge is to inspire you not only in
your craft but around the kitchen too.
Can't wait to see what you all come up with!
Here are a couple more details:
1. create anything and/or add a favorite recipe
2. can be combined with other challenges
3. use any stamps with the theme of food/drinks
4. deadline Nov. 13th at midnight (thanks for letting me know Janice)
5. add a direct link with Mr. Linky
6. play as many times as you like
I will share all of the projects on the 13th. While you will be
able to find all of the links for the recipes on this post, as
I will be adding them as they come.
Hopefully making it where we all don't do the same thing!
Here is what I came up with~
First my card: Pumpkin Pie

Supplies~
Stamps: saying: Happy Harvest (year round puns: Papertrey) and pumpkin pie (Simple Doodles being released on the 12th)
Cardstock/Ink: designer paper pack, chocolate, white, summer sunrise, and copics W1, YR16, Y26, and desert sand marker
Extra: pumpkin paper punch and glitter
Now for my recipe, Pumpkin Black Bean Soup by Cooking Light. I decided to do a link for my first one. Although, I will be back with some that I will have to type out. All of the my family really liked this one, but when I made it I didn't add the sherry (didn't have any on hand). So I will have to try it again. Hope you all enjoy!!!
