Tons of News to Share~

So this post will be covering tons, I mean tons of stuff!

First, I will start with bad news. I will no longer be doing a point system for Simple Doodles. So very sad, I know. I was just finding out that with more people using my stamps, it was becoming very hard to find a system that would work well at keeping track of those points. Plus I didn't want to miss anyone. So bye bye points.
Although, there is some good news that goes along with this. Since I want to still give out Free digi images to those whom use my stamps, I will be picking a Guest Designer each month to play with Simple Doodles new images. The guest designers will be picked from either creations that they sent me or from my free digi challenges. I will email that person (15 days before the next release) asking if they would like to be the guest designer for the month. If you receive an email, and don't or can't do it when I ask please don't worry about it. I completely understand.
If you do choose to be my guest designer, you will get/have to do the following:
  • your choice of 3 free digi images from the new release,
  • play with them
  • send them to me 3 days before the release date
  • you will also receive another free digi from past releases

So if you would like to have a chance, don't forget to play those challenges!!!

The next thing, I want to let everyone know is that if you have points already, I will be contacting you within the next couple of days to have you pick out your Free Digi. Since I want to make sure that you get your free digi for all of the hard work you did. For those of you who happen to see this before you get your email, please contact me at toadhughes@comcast.net with your choice of digi.

One more thing, Simple Doodles will only be doing one release a month. Another sad moment. This will be on the second Thursday of each month. Hopefully giving my guest designer and me enough time to share all of our wonderful samples will you before the release. Please note that this will not change the two free digi challenges. Hint: I will be adding another challenge very soon. More details to come later!

Now on to those samples, I said I would show you:
Here they are:

Supplies:
Stamps: saying (Thanksgiving Pumpkin: Simple Doodles) and swirls (Papertrey)
Cardstock/Ink: pumpkin pie, cream, olive, brown, and designer paper pack
Extra: brads, olive ribbon, cuttlebug, and corner punch

Supplies:
Stamps: turtle (Simple Doodles) and thinking of you (Papertrey)
Cardstock/Ink: olive, brilliant blue, white, cranberry, and designer paper pack
Extra: paper punch, white gel pen, and button
