Toast to a New Year~

Hello Everyone~

I can't believe it is Wednesday already. Today, I have a quick card that I made yesterday. With Christmas and the New Year just around the corner, I'm in major need of some more Holiday cards. I'm already feeling the rush. It seems to come on earlier and earlier every year!

Anyway, before I get onto the card for today, I wanted to share some great news. First, I'm the winner over at Creative Belli for the last challenge. Second, I want to share that now I will be a DT over at Pile It On (not the Guest Designer anymore). I'm super excited about being on the team, and can't wait to share my creations with all of you. Which my first creation will be this Sunday!

Another Tree Card~

So I have another tree card for all of you today. I'm in need of some male cards, and trees seem to be on my mind. Maybe that is due all of the leaves changing. LOL!

Harvest Wheelbarrow~

So today, I have the first peek at what is being released on Thursday by Simple Doodles. First let me get to the challenges I used:
Digital Tuesday: falling leaves
Cupcake Inspirational Challenge #25: fall cupcakes (love the colors)

Papertake Weekly challenge: sketch shown below
Here is what I came up with~
The new digi stamp is the wheelbarrow.
When I think of wheelbarrows, I think of finding that perfect pumpkin for Halloween. Some of my favorite memories are the boys riding inside of one, with their pumpkin right next to them. So I'm very pleased with how this turned out. Another thing that is really great about it is that if you have other inside themed stamps (like the pumpkins by Papertrey used here), then you can use them with this digi.

Reindeer Fun~

Sorry, I haven't been creating anything lately! Life has been crazy. But today I have two different cards to show you using both the same image and layout. Once I did one, I couldn't help myself in making another just like it.

A Simple Thanks~

I'm happy to say that my mom is doing lots better, after my little visit.

I'm back to creating and sharing!!! While my list of things to do is still really long, I was able to get a few things marked off.

First Day of School~

So here are the last of my pictures that I needed to share.

The boys are in Kindergarten! Where did the time go.

Children's Costco Auction~

Just want to share some of the pictures that we took while doing a fundraiser for Seattle Children's Hospital. We were the guest family for the evening, and able to share the boy's story with over 1,100 people. The boys received a backpack full of goodies from the wonderful ladies with the Costco Guild. Not only did we have fun meeting great people, but also got to watch Jay Leno in person (the boys were able to get their picture with him, too)!

For those who don't know the story, here is the quick version:
The boys were both born with cleft lip and paletes (one having a bilateral and the other a unilateral). For Cody, we were able to use what is called the NAM (now being changed to the SAM). Both of them have had 3 surgeries. While there is a couple more surgeries in their future, it will not be as many as their Dad had (21 surgeries total). So due having wonderful success with the boy's outcomes from the people at Children's Hospital, we are more than happy to help in any way we can!
