Wishing You Roses

I'm here with an early post today.

Hope all of you are enjoying your Wednesday morning. After having a long weekend of playing in the sun and doing yard work, I'm happy to be back in the mood to create. Now the only problem is finding the time to do so. While I did get time for my new creation today, there are tons more challenges that I want to do.

I hope that you are inspired as much as I was with today's challenge: #7 Color Challenge by Dawn.
Those flowers are so beautiful. They just say Spring and Summer to me! Which makes me want to go out a plant tons of flowers everywhere in the yard. The color combo, well what else to say, but WOW!!! I LOVE the combo, and now it has become one of my top five.
Here is what I came up with~
I used one of my favorite layouts for this challenge.
Supplies~
Stamps: Flowers ( Garden of Life: Papertrey) and Birthday wishes ( Mega Mixed Messages: Papertrey)
Cardstock/Ink: Spring Moss, Ripe Avocado, and Raspberry Fizz
Extra: Fizz silk ribbon, distress edges (Fizz cardstock), and Paper Punch

Red, White, and Blue

I'm keeping this super short today (I'm in a non-talking and creating mood)!

For today, I have a new challenge to share with all of you: Jewelry Color Inspiration by Stacey. Every Sunday, she comes up with some wonderful colors combo using some great jewelry! While I've been reading her blog for some time now, I just seem to never do her challenges.

This weeks colors were RED, WHITE, and BRILLIANT BLUE.
After planning all day on what I wanted to create, I finally was able to make it come to life!

Supplies~

Stamps: Background Stars (Star Prints: Papertrey), Little Star and Circle with Lines (Let Freedom Ring: Papertrey), and Celebrate (It's a Celebration: Papertrey)

Cardstock/Ink: red, white, and brilliant blue

Extra: circle punch and silk ribbon (white and blue)

Happy Friday~
Can't believe the weekend is already here. Wow, the week went super fast!!!
So today, is going to be another short post. I have a HUGE list of things to do, and to make it even worse my husband is coming home early. Which leaves me not a lot of time to play.
But I plan on being back next week with tons of posts with new creations inspired by all of my favorite challenges.

For today's challenge:
It is #61 A Sporting Chance by Cute Card Thursday. If you want more info about this challenge, be sure to check them out!
Here is my creation~
I was really happy to see this challenge (it allowed me to play with another new set by Papertrey: All Star Team). This card is going to be from one of the boys for their daddy for Father's Day.
Supplies:
Stamps: Saying, Banner, and Stars (All Star Team: Papertrey)
Cardstock/Ink: White, Black, Kraft, and Ripe Avocado

Anniversary Owl~

Happy Tuesday~
Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. It still seems to be a little crazy getting the last finishing touches on the house. Plus with having everyone wanting to come over and see the new house. Well, just leaves me really no time for stamping.
But today, I want to share I card that I made for my sweet husband. Our seventh anniversary was yesterday. We had a wonderful evening having dinner out, and a quiet night at home. Just the two of us (the boys stayed the night at the grandparents)!
Not only was this card for my anniversary but I also made for Raspberry Suite Challenge- Week #6. LOVE Dawn's color challenges!!!
This week's challenge was to use light aqua, white, coral pink, and brown.
Here is what I made~ Supplies~
Stamps: Owl and owl saying (Wise Owl: Papertrey), Hearts in the background and little heart(Heart Prints: Papertrey), and Happy Anniversary (Mixed Messages: Papertrey)
Cardstock/Ink: Chocolate, White, Aqua Mist, Hibiscus, Pumpkin, and Cocoa
Extra: brown brads, hibiscus silk ribbon, and distressed edges

Over the weekend~

Here are some fun pictures that I took over the weekend, of the boys playing with one of their remote toys. Glad we got to enjoy some of the beautiful warm weather!

This is Cody after Dad put water over his head.
And Cole afterwards too (trying to be Mr. Cool).

Hope all of you had a wonderful weekend, too!

Father's Day Duck~

Today, I have another Father's Day card to share with all of you. The sketch was inspired by Sketchy Thursday #36. When I first sat down to play with this sketch, I was having a really hard time making it all work together. I don't know if it was designer paper or being a card for a male (I always seem to have issues with male cards). After adding a couple of layer, I am happy with how it turned out!
Here is the sketch~

Here is my take on it~
Supplies~
Stamps: duck, saying, and plant (Pond Life: Papertrey)
Cardstock/Ink: Paper pack, Spring Rain, White, Chocolate, and Spring Moss
Extra: White brads
Thanks for stopping by!!!
