Spring Flower~

Good Morning~
Well, I finished this card yesterday, but as you can see I didn't get a chance to post it. So I'm doing it today, as well as a couple more cards (fingers crossed).
This card is inspired by Cupcake Craft Challenge #37. When I first saw that the challenge was to use 5 embellishments, I thought no big deal. I could do that. Although, when I sat down to do my card, it ended up being LOTS harder.
Here is what I came up with~
it is a little hard to see but I used gold glitter on the flower petals
Supplies~
Stamp: Flower (Petal Prints: Stampin' Up) and Backgrounds (Print Pattern and French Script: Stampin' Up)
Cardstock/Ink: Turquoise, Cream, Gold, Pumpkin, and Spring Moss
Extra: gold sheer ribbon, turquoise silk ribbon, silk flowers- turquoise and cream, gold eyelets, gold glitter, cream metal ribbon holder, and paper piercing

Circle Tree~

Now, on to my last post for the day!
I went ahead and combined two different challenges for this card. The first was to a NEW tree theme card by Caardvarks (yes, another NEW challenge), and the other challenge was to use something recycled by Our Creative Corner.

Well, I was super excited about this one because I received my Father Know Best set by Papertrey the other day, and now I could play with it. Plus, I had just the idea for my recycled product. You know all of that plastic wrapping that you have left over from your cardstock packs? Why not recycle it onto your card. That is what I did, and I think it turned out pretty cool.
Here is a close look at the tree cover with plastic~

The complete card~
Supplies~
Stamps: Father Knows Best and Star Background (Papertrey)
Cardstock/Ink: Spring Moss, Chocolate, Cream, and Ripe Avocado
Extra: inked edges and plastic wrapping
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!!

Tulip Happiness~

So here is my other creation for today! It is inspired by Challenge #38 at Color Throwdown. They came out with the new colors today: Red, Black, and Banana. Once I saw what colors to use, I went right to work. I LOVE red and yellow!!!

For the first post, I will share another NEW Sketch Challenge that I found. This challenge is by Karen over at The Sweetest Thing. She has some great cards to look at.

Just would not line up!!! Finally, I was able to make it work. So here is what it looks like now (had to cut the word part down some)~

Fun Pages~

Happy Monday~

Hope all of you had a nice Easter. Our's was a quiet one at home with the boys this year. It was kind of nice not having a whole bunch of people over at the house. No extra clean up today, left me with time to play!

Over the last couple of months my computer has been screaming at me to do something with all of the pictures I have on it. Yes, I'm one of those people who take tons of pictures, and let me sit taking up space on my computer. While all of my scrapbook supplies collect dust.

Finally, I had to do something. When I starting making the first of my pages, I remember WHY I don't scrapbook very often. Just so much paper to work with (don't know where to begin). Plus, I'm always out of something, mainly ink for my printer. But once I got in the groove, the pages seem flow one after another (did help that I was making 2 pages of the same layout, one for each of the boys). While I have still a few more pages to make, a tiny dent was made in my collection. Allowing me to be, so not far behind on my books.
Here they are~
Please know that these pages are not as detailed as my cards.

Stamps: Lines- Retro (Papetrey)

Stamps: four leaf clover- Seasonal Thoughts and Alphabets (CTMH)

Stamps: bucket with shovel- Love Songs (Papertrey)

Easter Greetings~

Happy Easter!!!

As you can see, I didn't get a chance on Thursday to add another post. I just ran out of time, and on Friday my DH came home earlier. While I had time to create tons of cards and scrapbook pages over the weekend, I still need to take pictures of them all. So there should be lots to share this week (cross your fingers).

For today, I have a sweet little bunny that has been waiting to say hello. The stamps are from a stamp company named My Cute Stamps (just found them a couple of weeks ago). They have some of the cutest stamps, and you don't break the bank when purchasing them! I only purchased one set (Jelly Beans), just to try them out, and now I'm in love. Supplies~
Stamps: Jelly Beans (My Cute Stamps) and Hoppy Spring (MFT)
Cardstock/Ink: DCWV Paper Pack, Black, White, Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin, Gable Green, Rose Red, Sand, and Pink Passion
Extra: Pink Gingham Ribbon, Inked edges (grass), and Watercolor (around bunny and cheeks of bunny)

Have a great rest of the weekend, and thanks for stopping by!!!
